  I was driving from shiner and was starving so I stopped on the highway to this place. the food was good, not the best BBQ but still decent. the staff was pretty friendly too.
  
  the reason I gave this place 2 stars was because as I was driving home, I took the lid off my cup to finish my tea, only to see a big finger nail sized STAPLE at the bottom of my cup.l, which i uploaded to the pictures here, good thing I'd been drinking this tea with a straw otherwise I would've had that staple stuck in my throat. anyways, I won't be back.

  It's all right. they made a new restroom next door. Last sandwich I bought was the sliced beef, seemed like it was serve to me reheated or had been sitting around for awhile. Not hot off the pit fresh if you know what I mean. Also watch out since they tax you for refills too on tea and other fountain drinks too.

  Sliced brisket sandwich on unique bread was very good and the side of cold slaw was tasty. Wife asked for child's chicken plate, which would have pleased a large child. The large chicken breast was very good and the beans and potato salad were also good.
